GENTLE YOGA FOR EVERYONE

A Yoga Practice CD with Accompanying Photos

Gentle Yoga for Everyone was created by Cherie for those who have never done yoga, as well as for experienced yoga students looking for a less challenging practice. It's great for anyone with limited flexibility, including those with back problems and those recovering from injury or illness. If you have not done yoga for awhile, this CD is a good way to ease back into it. Each track of Gentle Yoga for Everyone has a picture to illustrate the pose! Cost is $12. ( I can mail CDs to you for an extra $3 shipping.)

GENTLE YOGA FOR EVERYONE HOMEWORK

1. Every time you sit down, make sure your sacrum is perpendicular to the floor. You might need to roll up a hand towel or use a throw pillow behind your sacrum to make that happen. 2. Place your hands shoulder-width apart around the front edge of your kitchen sink. Take a couple of big steps back, tuck your head between your arms, and lengthen the spine all the way back to the tailbone. 3. Still holding on to the sink, bend your knees and come into a squat. 4. Every time you are in line, work on your posture! Lift the belly into the chest, release the tailbone towards your heels, take the shoulders back and down, let the chest lift and let the head balance lightly on top of the spine. 5. Kick your legs up over a chair seat and rest here for at least 10 minutes, letting your sacrum relax to the floor.
